Introduction

Mine Art Gallery has been orginising summer exhibitions called "Contemporary Art" for 12 years. At the beginning, the aim of exhibitions were to value the long summer months and to bring the artists working for the art gallery together. The last couple of years, exhibitions parallel to the atmosphere of the art environment has integrated the exhibitions name and exhibition's content.

In order to provide this, gallery also invites the other artists who are not working for the gallery. Undoubredly, the producer of the "Comtemporary Art" exhibitions is Mine Gülener. With an experience of 20 years as an art gallery owner, she has kept the gallery at a certain level and manage to gather an ever enriching team every year. On of top of this, she managed to create an "İstanbul Gallery" out of a stard-up focus merely on cultural activities in Kadıköy. We must also point out that Mine Art Gallery fullfill a  mission such as the development of contemporary art collectioners.

Beside my contributions on a small scale, we should point out that it is Adnan Çoker who is the essential person in helping the concept and sisytem of gallery to be materialized.

The cover of the thirteenth exhibition's catalogue contain six box. One is for the gallery, the other for sculpture artists and rest of four are for the painters. The aim of this rough categoration which made regarding to the groups of ages, is to make the invitation card and catalogue more attractive.

This text does not contain any critics or evaluations. Here they are! Artists and their works are in front of eyes! But I should say, it is a fact that they take too much risk by using canvas which is a traditional material... Last but not least, all the artists internalised the continuity and occupied significant position in Turkey.
